I know, crazy title, but that's it...smelly onion hands. There is nothing worse and it seems to last forever. I am a dental hygienist and I learned a long time ago, the smell of onions on my hands is not good.
Here's a quick and easy solution...
Gloves!! Works every time. You can buy them in any drug store.
I wear 2 gloves to start the peeling process. However, if my grip with the glove on my right hand isn't great holding the knife, I'll remove the glove on the right to do the cutting. The left glove stays on the whole time. Just depends on the fit and style of the glove.
Short post, but priceless tip for smelly onion hands...
Have a great day,
~Karen~
